During his 33 years of building houses Millard Fuller helped 200,000 families know the joy of having a decent home to call their own. What a legacy! It’s one that ought to be celebrated, and that’s just what we did with our second Millard Fuller Legacy Buildduring the week beginning Sept.4th through Sept. 11th. Cities and villages around the world Fuller Center covenant partners worked and provided another 100 families with a decent place to live.
In Armenia we have “dedicated” two houses in the name of Millard Fuller Legacy Build 2010. The events included building with Armenia Marriott hotel personnel and AGBU Marie Manoogian’s Armenian school students from Tehran.
“Every year we look forward to this
cherishing activity as we are sure that with joint efforts and involvement we can help a family to start a better and more convenient life”, said Ami Miron, the General Manager of Armenia Marriott Hotel.
One of the selected families from MFLB 2010 was Markosyan’s from Irind village, Aragatsotn region. The family consisting of 5 people had to move from place to place as did not have their own house. Now the house is almost completed and the family looks forward to move in by winter.
