Our flag was raised on Mount Ararat’s summit (5165 meters, 16945.54 f, the highest peak of Ararat plain) by our longtime friend and volunteer Gevorg Arevi Gasparyan and board member Armen Arakelyan, as part of our 15th-anniversary campaign to raise awareness of the need for appropriate housing and funds to help more underprivileged families.
We got the ball running on March 19 and have now scaled 15 mountain peaks. Resilience and endurance were necessary on the routes to the peaks, and the cause was worth it. We have already six donors who generously sponsored for six family houses honoring each of the ascents.
Now that over 100,000 Armenian families from Artsakh have been uprooted, our aspirations and objectives have drastically changed. We need to be stronger now more than ever since we have a difficult journey ahead of us with the housing need becoming even more critical in Armenia.
Please, join us with a life-changing gift and help us create decent housing for more families. You may sponsor a house with a house sponsorship cost of $12,000 or donate any amount toward sponsoring a house.
